Remembering

"I wish I wish with all my heart" , in the words of Parker, that I could remember every little thing. It is so important to me that I remember. I love so many moments in my life and it bothers me that I have a horrible memory. I think that is why I am obsessed with taking pictures and making notes. I only hope that it will help, some day when Shaun and I are old and gray, trigger visions of the past. I sort of wish somehow I could blink for T-VO in my brain and then play it back exactly as it were.
More things I want to remember some day...
Parker...
Makes up voices and words for Chandler
"I dont say scuze (excuse) me por (for) part (fart), just scuse me burp." (said at the dinner table)
told Brittany (hairdresser) "I want hair wike (like) daddies."
"My strong" "green beans make be strong and higher (taller) wike daddy. I have to pick the seeds out for him to eat them though. crazy.
The boys laugh and giggle together in the car. Chandler cracks Parker up and they are only 3 and 10 months old. It is the cutest bond ever.
Parker stapled his finger, but didn't cry til daddy took the staple out. Shaun checked and it seemed that all the staples were out, but...there was still one left. oops.
Parker says.. He (chandler) wuvs (loves) me.
Parker saw the space station fly over Owaso.. he waved and said..."Hi people"
Recites from DragonTales. I wish I wish with all my heart to fly with dragons in a land apart. (sound absolutly innocent.)

Chandler...
is so proud when he claps
likes to show his muscles and make you laugh and clap for him
loves peek a book. especially likes to duck behind the coffee table and pop up to scare you.
Still sweetly sings himself to sleep. adorable and precious.
sometimes has a machine gun laugh.
gives priceless, slobbery, open mouth kisses.
is a water baby, loves baths and anything to do with water.
plays with himself in the mirror
learnign to play catch with a ball
stands alone and is so close to taking a step by himself.
Gets so excited and giggly to play chase. He likes to get caught too.
pretends to cry. he even purposefully bonked his head on the coffee table and looked at me and tried to cry about it. Of course I scooped him up and babied him.

Moments with my boys that I would never trade or give up for the world. Every little thing... the looks, the fits even, tug my heart. Every minute with them is heaven to me. I love them with every little peice of my being. Truly, I wish, I wish with all my heart to always remember these precious moments vividly.

Falling Out

Yesterday I took Chandler to the Urgent Care. He was so happy but I just felt like something was wrong because he had an awful cough. He ended up having an ear infection and a sore throat. We got some antibiotics and stayed at home for the rest of the day. He ended up throwing up everywhere that evening, I guess because of all the drainage. Poor little guy, this is the sickest has ever been. I decided to stay home from work to take care of him today. I am hoping the antibiotics work fast. Anyway, I heard him about 2:00A.M. so I got up in a hurry and grabbed some Motrin to take to his room. When I got to his room, he was on the floor. OH MY GOSH, HE FELL OUT OF HIS BED. I hurried and flipped on the light. He was laying on his tummy crying. I cannot even believe this happened. I don't know how he did it. I picked him up and checked him out . He is perfectly okay. It really scared us both though. I woke up Shaun and he lowered his bed all the way to the bottom. Chandler ended up sleeping in between Shaun and I for the rest of the night though. Shaun said that his blanket was bundled up along the side of his bed, so maybe he stood on it and it gave him enough height to topple over. Who knows? One thing I am sure of, those angels I pray for every night to guard him, were watching over him.

Chandler walking

Chandler has been pulling up and walking along the furniture for a couple of weeks. It finally dawned on me to get out the push toys. He loves them and it is so cute to see his little chubby legs trotting along. I think he will walk before his birthday! yay!

Parker is Potty Trained

Yay! I am so excited. Parker may finally be potty trained. We have tried several times before, but he just wasn't ready. On Friday he acted like he needed to go poop so we asked him if he wanted to go in the potty. Every since he has been going all the time. Yay I am so happy. He looks so cute in his little big boy underwear! Also, he is so proud of himself. Oh, and he really loves that he gets bubble gum if he poops. 2 pieces!

Parker's Picture

Parker was drawing on his easel today, like he does often. He said... mommy, mommy look! I draw Daddy. I was amazed! This is his first drawing that actually looks like a person. He told me what everything was, his hair, eyes, nose. Then he said, oh, oh, I draw mouth. So he took the marker and added a mouth for Daddy. I love little kids pictures. This is so cute to me. What good detail for an almost 3 year old. To me anyways!

I drive him crazy

It all started last week when I put a sweatshirt on Parker that he didn't want to wear. He looked down at it, put his hands on his head and said... Oh Mo'om! You drivin me cwazy! Then he started saying it all the time, about Chandler, Aiden, me and more.

Other things he says...

He kicked Reese the other day. Shaun got on to him and said that he is going to get spankings if he kicks the dog. He teared up and came in to me. He told on himslef about kicking Reese and then put his right hand on his forehead and said... Daddy gonna pill (kill) me. I have no idea where he learned that one. The driving me crazy thing I'll take credit for but this...No idea,

He always asked to watch the tuby which means T.V. I think it's funny cause he has no idea they used to be called the tube. That is just how he says T.V.

The other day we had some country music playing on the T.V. and Parker started dancing. He loves to dance. Anyway, he really started shaking his bottom. All of the sudden he stopped and got a crazy look or a surprised look on his face. He smiled and said...My bottit (bottom) is going crazy!

The other day in the car on the way home Chandler kept talking to Parker. He was just saying na na naa naa na. Parker got the sweetest look on his face, reached out and held Chander's hand and said...I wu (love) you too bub. Ans he told me... aw mom, Chandwer (Chandler) so tute (cute) .

Chandler Waves Bye Bye

Chandler waved bye bye to Kristen last week. Shelly taught him how. It is so cute. Now he waves bye bye all the time to everyone. This was just for practice, but he waves really good to me in the mornings and to Daddy.

Chandler also started shaking his head no. I love the way he looks when he does this. It is so adorable. I like the way he looks at us when he does it. I love him so much. I love watching all the new things that he and Parker do and say.

Wii

Well Today was a snowday! Now school! These days are so fun to me! Even though it is so cold outside I think we have figured out a way to give Parker some outdoor like exercise. Everyone knows he is a ball of energy so this is definitely good for him!

Chandler's First Big Snow.

We've had a little bit of snow on the ground before but not very much. Today Chandler got to see snow falling from the sky for the first time. We played outside for a little bit. Chandler ate some snow and made a funny face. Shaun made a big pile of snow for Parker to jump in. It was really fun. Afterward we all came in and warmed up by the fire. Brrrr.

Chandler's First Haircut

Chandler got his first haircut today. He did such a good job. It was cute. He Really doesn't have a whole lot of hair but it was long on the top and poofy in the back so she just took a little bit off. He liked the razor. He smiled like it tickled.
Parker got his haircut too and he did good as usual, but he did fall out of the chair because he was trying to squirt me with the water bottle.

Poor Chandler

I realized today that he is not just cutting his 3rd tooth like I said previously. Poor little Chandler is cutting his 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th tooth all at the same time. Guess he is gonna cut teeth like his Uncle Dustin. No wonder his front gums have so so swollen.

Parker reads a book

Parker loves to read stories with me. Tonight when we read this short little book and he decided to read by himself. Sometimes I point to the words, maybe cause I am a teacher, so that he can learn that those weird shapes at the bottom mean something. Anyway, he pointed to the words when he read tonight! That is such a big deal to me. He called the pig and oink and the dog a puppy, but he pointed tot he words! Woohoo! I am so excited. It was cute. My little beginner reader, I am a proud mommy.

Mommy

Well, i was mama for a long time. then all of the sudden Parker started calling me mom. It was weir to hear him say. Sounded so grown up. Well, yesterday he stared calling me mommy! I thought maybe it was just for the day but, today he is still calling me mommy. I like it. I hope it lasts.
Today during dinner, Parker said he was gonna get stong and big like Daddy from eating. It was cute. We have never heard him say that before.

Pigs at Lowe's

Today we had to run to Wal-Mart and when we got out of the car Parker asked if we could go see the piggies. We were confused and didn't have a clue what he was talking about. Finally, I figured out that he was looking at all the little sheds outside of Lowe's. He thinks they are barns for little piggies.

Chandlers 3rd Tooth

Chandler is cutting his 3rd tooth! It is his top right one. I can feel it coming in. He is teething really well. He is sleeping all night and I haven't given him Tylenol at all for this tooth until today. It really hasn't seemed to bother him. Poor Parker had a tough time teething. He even had to have codeine to get him through a few of his teeth.

St Louis

This weekend we took a quick trip to St. Louis. Shaun woke up Friday morning and said he sure would love to get out of town for the weekend, so we did. The boys did pretty good on the way up there. It took much longer than just a normal 6 hour drive. We had several stops. But we made it there Friday night and we had fun.
On Saturday we went to the City Museum. It was such a cool place. They had all kinds of tunnels and slides and stuff made out of steel and building material and shipping rollers. Parker and Chandler had so much fun. They were completely worn out when we left.
We realized we forgot bathing suits to swim in at the hotel, so we decided to go to walmart, but it took us forever to find it. We actually never found it until we finally found a Target and left from there. Suddenly walmart just appeared out of nowhere. Of course it would when we didn't need it anymore.
On Sunday we ate at white Castle. It was ok. We saw it on food network and wanted to try it. We went to the arch. Parker hesitated to go to the top, but he liked it a little. He is scared of heights so after he looked out the window he told us... I am done, I want to go home now. He really just wanted to get back down to the ground. Seeing flying birds below him didn't fit his fancy.
Last we took a tour of annheiser busch. The boys got to see the clydesdale horses. Those horses are like royalty. i think I want to be a horse for Annheiser Busch.
This trip homw was better. i boys slept most of the way, they were exhausted. We stopped and ate at Cracker Barrel in joplina nd then got home about 10:00 Sunday night. It was a good get away and it is always fun to take the boys to see new stuff. They really enjoy famly outings.
