Christmas Morning

Santa sure left a bunch for the boys for Christmas this year! He even ate most of the cookies and he drank all of the milk! Parker and Chandler were so excited when they woke up Christmas morning! It took us a couple hours to open allt he presents! Partly because they had to stop and take a bath with Chandlers new waterfall bath toy! They crack me up. I love that they don't jsut tear through their presents yet. They still take their time and show excitement for every little thing.

Christmas was perfect. i love spending time with my family. My little ones won't be little for long enough. These are the special days, although it keeps getting better and better the older my boys get, I think these days are the ones I may treasure the very most. Innocence, genuine excitement and care free.

Happy New Year

My little puppies are very tired after staying up until midnight to bark in the new year. Poor Buster had a rough end to his year. He got his leg ran over by a car the night before Thanksgiving. But as you can see, he is here and blessed to be alive!

As for us, we had a really great day! We took the boys to see the movie Tangled at the theatre and then we took a great long nap! We knew that the boys would not be able to make it if we didn't! Then we had a really great dinner at Lonestar. Last we stopped and got some snacks and a new wii game and returned home for a game night. It was nice to have a day with just us four having fun. I think we are going to have a great 2011.

My Prince Charming

Today I felt a little like Snow White. My precious 2 year old, Chandler, stood on his tippy toes on the rail of my bed and awoke me with a kiss on the cheek this morning. He remembers that I sometimes wake him up that very same way. Nothing better than being a mom of boys.

Catchy Conversation

Talking to Parker...
Mommy, why are you starting at Chandler?
Well, he is so sleepy that I didn't know if he was gonna be able to holds his head up anymore.
Oh I thought you thought he was cute or something.
I do think he is cute.
Well how come you don't stare at me when I am trying to go to sleep?
I do stare at you, I think you are cute too. You just don't see me because your eyes are closed. Sometimes I even kiss you and you don't even know it!
Well I do know you kiss me. I can't see you but I can still feel it and I know who it is that's kissing me.

I stare at my boys constantly. They are the cutest things in my whole life. I sneak peeks at what they are doing all the time. Watching when they don't even know that I am watching.
Tonight I let parker catch me watching him fall asleep.it made him smile the sweetest I have ever seen. After tonight, I think I'll remember to let the boys catch me watching sometimes.

Life as a Princess

They've got me wrapped around their tiny fingers. They find a way to melt my heart daily. They are my precious boys. Sometimes I wear dresses or skirts and sometimes I sleep in nightgowns but to my boys they are simply ballgowns for their princess mommy. It doesn't matter if its late at night or first thing in the morning, make up on or off, if I am wearing a dress both of my sweet boys look at me and say... "mommy! You look like a princess!". How could life get any better than that?
